How to Get Ready
for Your VideByte™ Shooting

Your VideByte™ Script

If you would like us to write your copy for you, we need information from you at least 5 days in advance of your scheduled appointment, so we will have time to perfect your ad copy.

  1. If you are using your VideByte™ as an online TV ad
    1. The length should be 30 seconds to 2 minutes
    2. Have a specific goal in mind. The best VideBytes™ include a call to acti for the viewer to do one thing immediately. What is the first thing you want people to do after they see your VideByte™?
      1. Call for an appointment?
      2. Come to your place of business?
      3. Call and place an order?
      4. Sign up for your online newsletter?
      5. Enter their email address for a free report?
      6. Order your product online?
      7. Watch for a special offer from you in the mail?
      8. Mark their calendar for an event?
    3. Provide only the information a viewer will need in order to bring them to their decision on your call to action. Other information will dilute your message and make it less effective. Other helpful information can be placed on your web site - not in your VideByte™.
    4. Email a list of bullet points - things your viewers will need to know - and a clear statement of your call to action ("call for an appointment", "click below for your free report", "mark your calendar", etc.)

Email your information at least 3 days in advance of your appointment to:

  2. Special instructions if you are using your VideByte™ for a product demo or instructional video
    1. Will you be bring a product to your video shoot? What will you be bringing?
    2. If you know your demonstration well, and you have done it many times without a script, it is still helpful - but not necessary - to have a written script.
    3. For product demos, it is OK to go over 2 minutes if your audience is already interested and the purpose of the VideByte™ is to give them more information that they want. Extra charges apply for VideBytes™ longer than 2 minutes.
    4. For instructional videos, it is best to keep your VideByte™ at 5 minutes or less. If you need more than 5 minutes, it is better to do a series of 2-5 minute videos than to do a long VideByte™.
